Keeping a brand “weirdly awesome”
Trolli, a brand of candy owned by Ferrara, targets older kids and teenagers. It’s known for its ‘weirdly awesome’ candies that tout strange characters, tempting candy shapes and intriguing mouthfeels. With novelty being a critical part of how the brand continues to engage with its target audience and fuel its own mystique, Black Bamboo partnered on a number of innovation initiatives to fill its pipeline.

Our journey took us on many co-creation sessions with teenagers to build various narratives and associated product experiences (flavors, shapes, textures and materials) for new products ranging from exotic fruit flavors to licorice bites candies.
What we did: Innovation Pipeline, New Product/Service Co-Creation
